Tired of anti-capitalist sentiments

The ongoing vilification of the term capitalism really gets on my nerves.  People have locked in their minds a mythology defining it as large amoral companies feeding resources and/or people into it’s gaping maw for no other reason than it’s own continuance. However,  at least in my definition of things, that is in fact not capitalism but instead is actually Corporatism.

Once the United States was a flourishing capitalist nation of shopkeepers, skilled artisans, and farmers envied the world over. Increasingly over the last one hundred years corporate giants have crushed competitiveness, destroying small business and individuals who worked for themselves. Today citizens are enslaved to a system where the individual is lubrication for the corporate cogs driving big government.

Corporatism is defined (or re-defined depending on your viewpoint) as:

“Corporatism, also called “neo-corporatism”, is a term referring to tendencies in politics for legislators and administrations to be influenced or dominated by the interests of business enterprises, employers’ organizations, and industry trade groups. In this system government decisions are strongly influenced by which sorts of policies will lead to greater profits for favored companies.”

The U.S. Constitution learn it, love it, and protect it.

U.S. citizens have had a long hard struggle over the last decades preventing elitists, bureaucrats, lawyers, and judges who constantly tell us they know better  from whittling away at our country’s greatest document The U.S. Constitution. These know-it-all’s continue to justify their insanity attempting to convince us that this document of basic undeniable rights is somehow outdated or needs to be changed, utter and absolute nonsense!

These fringe elements keep saying things like “The Constitution is a living breathing document that needs to change with the times.” Balls I say! Our Constitution is a “living breathing document” in that it is just as valid and necessary now, if not more so, than it ever was! We must learn to protect ourselves from these nuts who want to create an elitist structure where only a minuscule portion of the population have any rights or decision making ability. There’s too much Big Brother style government now and it’s getting worse and worse under Obama’s administration. The 2012 election year might be the supposed end of the world to some people who put stock in such prophecies, but it can’t come soon enough to get this clown out of the oval office!

Obama sez Obey!!

Americans have lost faith in Obama

It’s cost this country a lot of money to finally learn the lesson that Obama was not the right person for the job. Many of us were wise enough to know that from the outset, but the mindless hordes that voted him into office are finally getting a clue.

The New York Daily News reports that the majority of U.S. Citizens are dissatisfied with the job he has done and the numbers are on the increase.

Not posting much lately

Sorry for the lack of activity lately, after the recent debacle also known as “the passing of the health care bill” I’ve just been too bummed out to feel like saying much. When the representatives we elect to act as our voice, betray us with such blatant disregard for the people’s will, it’s depressing. With that action it is now confirmed we now have no control over the “Frankenstein’s Monster” known as our government, we any longer have a say it what happens. It’s completely frightening to me that they have taken the Constitution  and blackened out the part that says ” We the people”.

Anti-Obama protesters show to greet President in St. Louis

Organizers hoped to have around six hundred people to protest Obama’s health care nightmare, however the crowd kept coming till it got hard to count. Estimates reported over 2000 protesters arrived and maybe as many as 2500!! It goes to show people want Obama and his cronies to shut up, and listen to what his bosses ( the citizens of this country) have to say for a change. You don’t tell us what we want or need sir, we tell you… end of story.

What Space Program is that?

Under the typical confused directionless Obama administration, NASA is being put on the back burner. It seems all the technological achievements brought about through space research and the eventual economic benefits of those new technologies will be ignored like everything else D.C. is refusing to think about. Beyond that there is the psychological effect of being a world leader technologically, it seems the powers that be are forgetting you have to dream, you have to reach for big goals or else you limit yourself until you are nothing more than a “could have been” living on past glories in a run down shack. That happens to people, and it happens to countries. Let’s look forward to something, not just focus on problems and past achievements by earlier generations.

I do feel NASA needed a shake up and to re-focus it’s goals on deep space instead of near earth, but to be shelved for ten or twenty years is just stupid. Washington D.C. still refuses to learn the lesson that you can’t solve problems by ignoring them or regulating them. Becoming deaf, dumb, and blind to things doesn’t solve problems or make them go away.

WWII pilots finally getting long overdue accolades

These ladies were part of the Women Airforce Services Pilots program flying military aircraft for the United States Army Air Force during World War II and never got any real thanks from their country, If anything they were forgotten about for a period of time.

I’m glad the survivors are being formally thanked for all that they did, but isn’t it sad that back when they were in uniform they were not appreciated. Once upon a time this country regularly produced people of such outstanding qualities, makes me wonder why this is not true anymore. These women were heroic patriots and should never be forgotten.
