An article in USA Today exposes the loss of 289 firearms over a three year period by the Department of Homeland Security and that 15 are known to have ended up in criminal hands. With such a large number of lost firearms it would not be unreasonable to think that more of the missing weapons are in criminal hands than is stated, they simply haven’t been accounted for as yet.

Once again the left wing wack jobs in DC have done an end run around laws forbidding them from abusing and using Federal resources to further their agenda. The current plan is to drum up some anti-gun furor using a “snake-oil” sales pitch linking health care issues with gun ownership via the CDC.
