Obama starts campaigning for 2012

POTUS Obama has already started campaigning for 2012. For anyone actually thinking they might still vote for him you might want to watch these videos and change your mind about that. Vote “Anybody but Obama in 2012″.

This is the man who should have been President instead of Obama

It’s funny to me when I meet people and we start talking politics, they act shocked and immediately make assumptions of racism when I mention that I can’t stand Obama. Those absurd assumptions amuse me since I don’t dislike him because of his race…. I dislike him because of his politics, his lack of integrity, and his blatant disregard of the will of the people in this country. The largest complaint of all is that he thinks he knows better than anyone else in the U.S.A. what should be done and will not listen to anything anyone else puts forward. That is why I do not like him.

If Congressman Allen West had run for President against Obama, and if he meant only half of what he said in this video, then he is the man I would have voted for in a heartbeat!!

Big Brother

Taking back the country one step at a time. We got the House away from the communist demo’tards, maybe we can do better and get the Senate next go around too.

America in Mourning

Watch this video, it says everything that needs to be said.

Reagan: “Those Voices Don’t Speak for the Rest of Us.”

“Flopping Aces” blog posted this great video and it was so good I had to share it too. Former President Reagan speaks to us from the past reminding us we don’t need the “Elite Few” telling us what we want.

Now, if only we could get these D.C. elitists to watch and realize what they are doing wrong…

Tired of anti-capitalist sentiments

The ongoing vilification of the term capitalism really gets on my nerves.  People have locked in their minds a mythology defining it as large amoral companies feeding resources and/or people into it’s gaping maw for no other reason than it’s own continuance. However,  at least in my definition of things, that is in fact not capitalism but instead is actually Corporatism.

Once the United States was a flourishing capitalist nation of shopkeepers, skilled artisans, and farmers envied the world over. Increasingly over the last one hundred years corporate giants have crushed competitiveness, destroying small business and individuals who worked for themselves. Today citizens are enslaved to a system where the individual is lubrication for the corporate cogs driving big government.

Corporatism is defined (or re-defined depending on your viewpoint) as:

“Corporatism, also called “neo-corporatism”, is a term referring to tendencies in politics for legislators and administrations to be influenced or dominated by the interests of business enterprises, employers’ organizations, and industry trade groups. In this system government decisions are strongly influenced by which sorts of policies will lead to greater profits for favored companies.”

A recent article at the Missoula Independent points out that unlike some states, Utah has some fair and balanced concealed carry regulations open to non-residents.

Americans have lost faith in Obama

It’s cost this country a lot of money to finally learn the lesson that Obama was not the right person for the job. Many of us were wise enough to know that from the outset, but the mindless hordes that voted him into office are finally getting a clue.

The New York Daily News reports that the majority of U.S. Citizens are dissatisfied with the job he has done and the numbers are on the increase.

What Space Program is that?

Under the typical confused directionless Obama administration, NASA is being put on the back burner. It seems all the technological achievements brought about through space research and the eventual economic benefits of those new technologies will be ignored like everything else D.C. is refusing to think about. Beyond that there is the psychological effect of being a world leader technologically, it seems the powers that be are forgetting you have to dream, you have to reach for big goals or else you limit yourself until you are nothing more than a “could have been” living on past glories in a run down shack. That happens to people, and it happens to countries. Let’s look forward to something, not just focus on problems and past achievements by earlier generations.

I do feel NASA needed a shake up and to re-focus it’s goals on deep space instead of near earth, but to be shelved for ten or twenty years is just stupid. Washington D.C. still refuses to learn the lesson that you can’t solve problems by ignoring them or regulating them. Becoming deaf, dumb, and blind to things doesn’t solve problems or make them go away.

WWII pilots finally getting long overdue accolades

These ladies were part of the Women Airforce Services Pilots program flying military aircraft for the United States Army Air Force during World War II and never got any real thanks from their country, If anything they were forgotten about for a period of time.

I’m glad the survivors are being formally thanked for all that they did, but isn’t it sad that back when they were in uniform they were not appreciated. Once upon a time this country regularly produced people of such outstanding qualities, makes me wonder why this is not true anymore. These women were heroic patriots and should never be forgotten.
